Open Innovation program with the intention of create new goods/services and to carry out pilot projects that satisfy specific needs of the tourism sector.
Objectives
Newton 4.0 aims to boost new tourist-based disruptive projects and stimulate the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Center Region of Portugal. Through the development of pilot projects, it is intended to solve real needs of companies in the tourism sector, by innovative startups that see in this way the range of possible markets widened. The project includes training and networking sessions, with Startups (challenged) looking to develop and implement pilot projects that seek to solve the challenges launched by SMEs (challengers).
