Description

 Facing the difficulty of retaining young adults and families in rural areas, through the exchange of good practices between Spain, Portugal and Italy, Rural Creative Labs, aims to increase the entrepreneurial initiative of the young population living in rural areas, through creative digital tools, the training of adult facilitators and the creation of transnational opportunities.

Objectives

(1) Promote the exchange of good practices and methodologies between NGOs/entrepreneurs/digital learning centres and other local entities from 3 EU countries. (2) Design quality transnational training and networking opportunities to empower young adults and educators living in rural areas (3) Increase the soft skills, entrepreneurship and digital competencies of rural young adults and educator population at local/global level. (4) To contribute to the sense of belonging as European citizens and motivate participants to learn more about the EU by creating a European network. (5) Invest in capacity building of adult mediators, promoting high quality work and innovative methods to reach rural youth.

Activities Resume

(1) Design of the Toolkit "Rural Creative Labs" that will be made available online for free download - this toolkit will include all the necessary steps for the organisation of a bootcamp based on the principles of non-formal education, for entrepreneurship and the spirit of initiative in rural areas with young adults, using different methodologies such as creative arts, digital tools, design thinking, etc. (2) Transnational training for 12 staff and adult educators. sharing of good practices to stimulate the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship of adult learners living in rural areas, using creative arts and digital tools. (3) Research and mapping of good practices based on the use of creative arts and digital tools to promote entrepreneurship with rural young adults that will be shared on the project platform. (4) Implementation of local bootcamps with a minimum of 12 local young adults (5) Residential Program for the 5 best participants drawn from the local bootcamps and 1 adult educator from each partner organization
